Getting started

You will be initially required to undertake an introductory Pilates assessment where your needs and goals will be explored and assessed. This ensures that we can develop a workout best suited to meet your specific requirements.  In this session you will learn about the basic Pilates principles and become familiar with the Pilates apparatus. 

 

Who can do Pilates?

Pilates is great for anyone. It can be adapted for any fitness level and most physical conditions. Each session is designed for each individual whether in a private or semi private session. Pilates is commonly encouraged for prenatal mothers due to its low impact techniques.

Pilates is also an excellent application for those recovering from injuries and we work closely with Momentum Physiotherapy to develop a program for this rehabilitation. 

 

What do I wear?

Please wear something comfortable that you are able to easily move in. Please ensure you wear socks and bring a towel.
